Background

Worked with logistics chilled and frozen food, food packaging, extrusion of plastics and export consultant - in the role of sales and business development. For the past 10-12 years, I have worked with business development for small and medium-sized companies at the Sustainable Business Hub and RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. At RISE, among other things, as an SME coach in Omställningslyftet, within which I have coached about 80 SMEs in groups and individually. Industries: biogas, waste, district heating, food, packaging


Business development

  • Coached SMEs in market selection of export markets. In my various roles since the 1980s until today, I have worked in markets from Ireland in the west to Russia in the east, and north from Switzerland/Austria/Hungary in the south.
  • Arranged meetings and seminars in Sweden and abroad for SMEs to find business partners. I have a large network of contacts both inside and outside the country's borders.


Production and supply chain development

  • Together with SMEs, they have identified sustainability aspects in their production and supply chain in detail, which in many cases is an eye-opener, as SMEs see opportunities to significantly improve their sustainability with simple measures.
  • Taught SMEs the concept of sustainability with its three aspects, economic, social and environmental, - and put it in the context of the companies' operations.


Organizational development

In this area, I am not professionally active. However, I believe in situational leadership where a clear goal is set for everyone and that the individual is given the opportunity to work for this within set conditions.
